Ariana Grande slams Trump supporters with fiery post

Ariana Grande has sparked online debate after sharing a controversial Instagram story.

The pop star reposted a message questioning whether Donald Trump’s supporters had truly seen the economic improvements he promised. The post asked if lower insurance costs, cheaper groceries, and a stronger economy had been delivered.

It also challenged whether any potential benefits were worth the damage done to immigrants, transgender communities, and freedom of speech. “Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?” the post, originally by LGBTQ+ activist Matt Bernstein, read.

Grande’s repost quickly went viral. She has never shied away from speaking out on politics, especially criticizing Trump’s policies on immigration and LGBTQ+ rights.

Back in June 2025, Grande also reshared a statement from Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that called for Trump’s impeachment after he ordered strikes on Iran without congressional approval. Around the same time, she posted a meme contrasting crimes that result in deportation with those that lead to political power—clearly referencing Trump’s legal troubles and criminal conviction in 2024.

Unsurprisingly, her latest post drew backlash, with some even calling for her deportation despite her being a U.S. citizen. Still, Grande has remained firm in her views and continues to voice support for Kamala Harris. While hosting Saturday Night Live, she joked that “second time’s a charm” for electing a female president.

Grande, who has over 370 million Instagram followers, proves that despite the criticism, she is unafraid to use her massive platform to speak out.
