Trump has scathing 6-word response after new pictures of him and Jeffrey Epstein are released

Donald Trump gave a blunt response after being questioned about newly surfaced photos and videos linking him to Jeffrey Epstein. When asked about the images, the former president replied with just six words: “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Earlier in his presidential campaign, Trump had pledged to release all files related to Epstein. In February 2025, Attorney General Pamela Bondi released what was called the “first phase” of declassified files, but by July, the DOJ said there was “no basis” to release more and denied the existence of any incriminating “client list.”

That decision led to public speculation that Trump might be concealing information. When questioned, he dismissed the topic, saying, “Are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable.”

Despite the criticism, Trump later announced plans to release grand jury materials related to Epstein. However, attention was reignited after CNN’s KFile uncovered footage and photos showing Epstein at Trump’s 1993 wedding to Marla Maples.

Additional video showed the two men laughing and chatting at a 1999 Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York. Photographer Dafydd Jones, who captured Trump’s wedding, confirmed he recognized Epstein at the event and recalled photographing them together before.

Responding to the renewed media focus, Trump labeled CNN’s reporting as “fake news.” His Communications Director, Steven Cheung, dismissed the photos as misleading, stating they were from public events and twisted to imply wrongdoing.

Trump and Epstein were known to socialize in the 1980s and 1990s, though they reportedly fell out in the 2000s over a real estate deal.
